Welcome to Strabane Academy!
It is with great pride that I welcome you to our school website. I am truly honoured to serve as the new Principal of Strabane Academy.
I hope that as you explore these pages, you gain a clear sense of our commitment to the holistic development of every student in our care.
At Strabane Academy we offer a broad and balanced curriculum designed to nurture the unique strengths and talents of each individual pupil. Beyond the classroom, our students benefit from the wide range of enriching opportunities - from sports and music to educational visits, Scripture Union, and the Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme, to name just a few.

🌟 Our 11N King’s Trust Superstars Were Out in the Community! 🌟
Yesterday our amazing 11N King’s Trust pupils joined forces with local Rugby, Football and Gaelic coaches to support sessions in Strabane Primary School with visiting p4 pupils also from St Mary’s Primary School.
They helped run skills drills, encouraged brilliant teamwork… and even introduced the boys and girls to Academy Ally, our wellbeing superhero ⭐
The P4 kids were fantastic — full of energy, great manners, brilliant enthusiasm, and eager to learn all about Ally’s Take 5 adventures: how he connects, gives, gets active, takes notice and keeps learning every single day.
Huge well done to 11N for being wonderful role models, and a big shout-out to the great kids in both schools who made the sessions so much fun!
We can’t wait to visit St Mary’s Primary School next week! 🏉⚽️🏐

Photos from Strabane Academy's post 📚🧁9S Bake Sale Update - £242 raised 🙌 for 'Moving Windmills' in Malawi 📚🧁
A massive well done to 9S who worked so hard to raise money for the people and children of Malawi. Having been inspired by William Kamkwamba's story, they wanted to give something to his community which would include helping children to receive an education. Thank you so much to 9S, their mums and dads and anyone who brought in or made delicious treats. Thank you to all the students and staff who helped out today. From 9S 🫶
All money will be donated to Moving Windmills. See link below.
