Today, our Year 8 and 9 pupils took part in a special form class session as part of our Anti-Bullying Ambassador initiative. They explored what kindness really means, why it matters, and the positive impact it has on our whole school community.
Pupils then put their thoughts into action by designing and signing their very own Kindness Flower, which will be proudly displayed on our Kindness Board in the foyer.πΈ
Itβs been fantastic to see such thoughtful reflection and creativity from our students. Small acts of kindness can make a big difference and together, weβre building a culture where everyone feels valued, respected, and supported. π

We are appreciative to so many of our staff who volunteer their time to create these opportunities for our students.

Last week, our Year 9 students met up with St Columba's once again for a screening of Zootropolis 2 in Eclipse Cinema, followed by a workshop based on the film. Students talked about their schools and how we can work together to create a better community. Strabane Academy may be petitioning for a half day on a Wednesday like St Columba's have! Great to see students from both schools interacting, making friends and having fun. Well done all! π«Ά

This is a fantastic achievement and a great example of commitment and consistency. Excellent attendance plays a vital role in academic success, every lesson counts, helping students stay on track, build understanding, and reach their full potential.
Itβs also just as important pastorally. Being in school every day supports wellbeing, strengthens friendships, and ensures students feel connected, supported, and part of the school community.
